Ganesh Yatri Niwas is a small, family-run lodge in Shegaon. This website exists to help you learn about our rooms and reach us easily. It has no login, no online payment, and no booking account - so we collect very little, and we keep things simple and honest. Here is exactly how your information is handled.

1. Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and the website does not require any personal details to browse. We do not collect your information directly through this site.

When you choose to send us an enquiry - for example, the dates, number of guests, name, or phone number you share over WhatsApp or on a phone call - that information comes to us directly so we can answer you. You decide what to share, and you only share it when you reach out.

2. Cookies & analytics

We aim to keep this site light and respectful of your privacy. We do not use advertising trackers. If basic, privacy-friendly analytics are switched on (an optional Google Analytics configuration, enabled only when the site owner sets a NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID value), it helps us understand which pages pilgrims find useful - not to identify you personally. If that value is not set, no such analytics run at all.

3. Third-party services

A few trusted services help this website work. When you use them, they operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control:

  • WhatsApp - when you message us, your enquiry is handled by WhatsApp and governed by its policy.
  • Google Maps - our location map and directions are provided by Google, which may set its own cookies in the embedded map.
  • Phone calls - calls you make to us are carried by your telephone provider, not by this website.

4. How we use your details

We use the details you send us for one purpose only: to respond to your booking enquiry and help plan your stay. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not send promotional messages you did not ask for.

5. Data retention & your choices

We keep your enquiry messages only as long as needed to assist you and to keep a simple record of your stay. You are always in control of your information:

  • You can ask us to delete your messages and details at any time.
  • You can ask what details of yours we hold.
  • You can choose to stop contacting us, and we will not reach out unprompted.
